Accounting Supervisor

Day to day:
- Manage all accounting functions, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable, fixed assets, tax, financial and compliance reporting, forecasting, costing files, assisting with the annual budget, monthly balancing, inventory management, and ensuring the accurate and timely recording and reporting of all accounting records and transaction
- Lead in the implementation, communication, and interpretation of accounting and financial policies.
- Drive control and system improvements.
- Supervise external and internal audit processes.
- Ensure proper internal controls are maintained.
- Provide analytical support to other departments related to accounting issues.
- Drive continuous cost improvements across all aspects of the business.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business, or direct related work experience (10-15 years, most of those being in a supervisor role)
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience with 1 year as a team lead, supervisor, or manager.
Preferred:
- MBA or CPA
- Willing to relocate for a promotion anywhere from 18 months - 4 years.
- Manufacturing experience
