Certified Medical Assistant - Smyrna GA
Job Description
Rezult continues to make great strides toward enhancing patient care services community nationwide. We are consistently looking for qualified professionals to join us in achieving success. Currently we are searching for a Certified Medical Assistant for a contract role with an exceptional occupational / primary care healthcare organization based out of Smyrna, GA.
· Contract length: 19 weeks
· Start date: ASAP
· Schedule: Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm
· Pay rate range: $25 to $27 an hour
· Benefits: Medical / Dental / Vision / Weekly Pay
JOB DETAILS:
· CMA needed for primary care clinic.
· Interviews patients, measures vital signs, such as pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height, and records information on patients' charts
· Prepares treatment rooms and patients for examination
· Operates electrocardiograph (EKG) and other equipment to administer routine diagnostic tests
· Gives injections or treatments, phlebotomy, POC testing, and performs routine laboratory tests
· Schedules appointments and makes follow up phone calls to patients
· Performs administrative tasks, completes appropriate client company and OSHA regulated forms, and provides assistance at front desk
We are actively speaking with applicants that have a minimum of:
· Must have at least 3 years of CMA experience in a primary care, clinic, urgent care or occupational health environment.
· Seeking someone that has strong customer service skills, strong phlebotomy skills and experience with front and back office duties.
· Epic EMR experience a plus
· CMA Certification is required.
