***Cannot work C2C, must be a USC or GC holder and able to report onsite in Birmingham, AL***
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field
- 5-10 years of Cost Analyst experience specializing in monitoring, analyzing project cost, and ensuring compliance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, Access, Word, Power BI) Multitasking in a face paced environment.
- Ability and willingness to develop strong internal and external client working relationships.
- Adaptable and flexible in a changing and evolving environment.
- Ability to work on multiple complex projects and tasks and work closely day to day with the project managers and other project controls analysts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Track and analyze project budgets, actual cost, and financial performance. Identify cost variances and investigate root causes.
- Drive budget preparation and cost projections.
- Ensure project cost align with financial goals and constraints.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to adjust budgets based on project scope changes.
- Prepare financial reports and cost documentation for stakeholders.
- Work closely with finance and compliance to meet regulatory standards.
