Currently we are searching for a Data Warehouse & BI Manager to fulfill an immediate full-time vacancy.
This position is a Full-Time, Direct Hire position, not offering sponsorship, or C2C, that sits fully onsite in southeast Alabama.Â
Day to Day:
The Data Warehouse & Business Analytics Development Manager will provide technical and personnel leadership focusing on building and maintaining the Enterprise Data Warehouse. This includes configuring connections to source systems, developing and refactoring reports to support various business areas, and ensuring that all data governance and security standards are met. The candidate will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business needs, and document data to be ingested into the EDW.
·        Leading the identification, commitment, and execution of projects.
·        Guiding new requests and ensuring execution meets committed timeframes.
·        Managing relationships with vendors such as MicroStrategy, Kingswaysoft, etc
·        Working with internal business partners to resolve conflict due to competing priorities.
·        Maintaining a strong working relationship with our internal business partners.
·        Project management and guidance on critical initiatives
·        Day-to-day management oversight of project issues
·        Day-to-day management of production environments
·        Ensuring proper team training in SQL, ConnectCDC, SSIS, etc.
·        Change management and versioning
·        Adherence to project management and development best practices
Requirements:
·        5+ years’ experience in data warehouse environment
·        Experience leading or managing a team
·        Experience with MicroStrategy or other Business Intelligence or Analytics applications
·        Experience using code management facilities (e.g,. JIRA, Azure)
·        Versed in SDLC and best practices for applications development
·        Knowledge of MS SQL Server and MS Visual Studio
·        Experienced in large or enterprise environments and large system implementations
