Responsibilities:
Project Upgrade:
- Assist in the upgrade of systems from Windows 10 to Windows 11.
- Image PCs and ensure all necessary applications and network drives are accessible to end users.
- Support end users post-upgrade, resolving any issues that arise.
- Schedule upgrades with end users and prepare systems for the upgrade.
- Ensure systems have enough memory to support the upgrade and perform system clean-up by deleting temporary files and cache.
System Rebuilds:
- Mirror and replace machines as needed, ensuring like-to-like installs for software.
- Reconfigure printers and ensure access to the same data and applications as the previous machines.
User Support:
- Provide excellent communication and support to end users during the upgrade process.
- Help end users with accessing applications and mapping network drives.
Qualifications:
Experience:
- 3-5 years of desktop support experience.
- Proficient in PC imaging and deployment.
Skills:
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
