Director of Accounting Consultant

Job Description
Rezult continues to make great strides toward enhancing the financial services community nationwide. We are consistently looking for qualified professionals to join us in achieving success. Currently we are searching for a Director of Accounting Consultant for a 6+ month contract with an exceptional client operating on a fully remote schedule (can sit anywhere within the US).
Job responsibilities include:
- Leading a high-volume, fast-paced team and ensuring team workflow meets the designated KPIs
- Managing high-level exposure to clients, stakeholders, and executive leadership with stringent deadlines
- Managing three analysts on day-to-day duties
- Analyzing cash flow, forecasts and budgets for assigned lined of business
- Balancing a heavy deadline driven environment with day-to-day duties
- Utilizing advanced Excel skills - macros
- Ability to communicate financials clearly and effectively to leadership and prepare financial statements
- Handing high-volume, complex reconciliations for assigned business lines
- Managing SOX compliance and internal controls
- Liaison with company and client leadership
- Reviewing complex contracts as needed and ensuring accuracy for reporting
We are currently speaking with candidates who have:
- Seven(+) years of progressive corporate accounting experience
- Experience managing a team of accountants (2 minimum)
- Financial statement preparation
- CPA HIGHLY PREFERRED
- Must have advanced Excel skills --manipulating macros, building formulas and working in large data sets

Morgan Ball serves as Director of Business Operations in Rezult Group's Nashville office. Morgan started her career as a Recruiting Partner and has progressively taken on new roles within the organization. She found her passion for sales when she became a Business Development Manager where she interfaced with clients, worked closely with her team, enhanced her knowledge of organizational accounting and finance needs, and learned how to best partner with her clients. Morgan’s outgoing and creative personality sets her apart as a contributor and leader within our organization.
Morgan received her bachelor’s degree from The University of Memphis where she studied Public Relations. She and her husband are proud parents to their two Wheaten Terriers, Lu and Andy. When not looking after her fur babies Morgan loves cheering on the Tigers, being with friends traveling and celebrating all things Nashville!
