Rezult Group continues to make great strides toward enhancing the technology services community nationwide. We are consistently looking for qualified professionals to join us in achieving success. Currently we are searching for a Director of Infrastructure to fulfill an immediate full-time vacancy.
This position is a Full-Time, Direct Hire position, not offering sponsorship, or C2C, that sits onsite in Birmingham, AL. Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership and management for Service Desk and Infrastructure teams.
- Leadership and team development: Assign work, conduct performance evaluations, and contribute to talent acquisition efforts.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of hybrid infrastructure and related systems (75% AWS RDS and some SQL server).
- Ensure optimal performance and reliability of IT systems to support business operations.
- Consider security and compliance to safeguard network infrastructure.
- Develop and execute business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the IT infrastructure team.
- 10 years of leadership experience - seeking proven history of mentoring and developing high-performing teams.
- 10 years of experience in IT infrastructure side - seeking in depth knowledge of IT infrastructure; including networks, servers, cloud platforms, and security.
- Bachelor's degree in information technology or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and Google Workspace.
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
- Expertise in Active Directory and Group Policy management.
- Advanced proficiency in network infrastructure components such as switches and firewalls.
- Strong background in server applications like SQL Server and RDS.
- Familiarity with voice technologies and phone systems.
- Bonus - strong AWS experience, and experience with Zero Trust architecture would be major bonuses.
