We are seeking a talented Executive Assistant to join our clients incredible team of support staff. The ideal candidate to join this group is passionate about creative problem solving and has a “no task is too small” mindset and positive attitude. The candidate should have strong communication and organizational skills and should take the initiative to solve problems independently. The candidate will support the CEO and President while also contributing to the operational needs of the office. 

  • Prioritize and manage the CEO and President’s commitments and calendars, internal and external meetings,
  • conference calls and travel.
  • Act as the “gatekeeper” with respect to calendars and appointments for CEO and President.
  • Prioritize needs and use critical thinking to solve calendar conflicts.
  • Organize and prioritize emails by responding on behalf of CEO and President in written, email or phone communications.
  • Research, book and manage travel itineraries for executives and staff members.
  • Manage public contact list in Outlook and ensure new contacts are entered timely and correctly.
  • Ensure architectural licenses are updated and accurate while maintaining AIA credits for recording with licensure department.
  • Perform certain human resource tasks such as maintaining the employee quarterly review log, scheduling quarterly review meetings, and ensure documentation is saved in the file.
  • Assist with new hire orientation by preparing onboarding schedules and booking onboarding meetings.
  • Assists with the execution of company events (i.e., ordering group lunches, firm meetings, business related socials etc.)
  • Partner with technical leaders to schedule and track lunch-and-learn sessions.
  • Prepares presentations, agendas, reports, special projects, and other documents in support of objectives of the organization.

  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience supporting C-suite executives, or other relevant experience working directly with executives.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and particularly well versed in Outlook.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Mary Hendon is the dynamic Director of Business Operations in Rezult's Birmingham office.  Mary Hendon began her career as a Recruiting Partner with our Nashville team in 2014 and moved into a Business Development position.  In 2016, she transferred to the Birmingham office where her experience across multiple markets made her a valuable and distinctive member of the Rezult family.  For the past four years, in Birmingham, Mary Hendon has been the top Business Development producer managing over 100 contractors at a time.  As a result of her dedication and skill, the Birmingham office accounts have grown by 2400%.  The experience and leadership skills Mary Hendon possess are now used to lead our Birmingham market.  Mary Hendon was promoted in 2021 to Director of Operations, and in that position, she leads and mentors Recruiting and Business Development team members to expand, grow and develop Birmingham market business opportunities.


Mary Hendon holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Alabama in Business with a focus in Corporate Communications, Leadership and Corporate Social Responsibility.  She loves to spend time with friends and family, especially her husband and children, and paints whenever she has the chance.  Mary Hendon serves on the Board for Ronald McDonald House and Exceptional Foundation in Birmingham.
