This individual will be responsible for:
Â
•       Serve as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance over the phone or email.
•       Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions.
•       Resolve technical problems with Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), and other systems.
•       Determine the best solution based on the issue and details provided by customers.
•       Walk the customer through the problem-solving process.
•       Identify and suggest possible improvements in procedures.
•       Ensure proper recording, documentation, and closure.
•       Sets up new PCs and laptops and deploys them to the end user. Reimages and configures laptops.
•       Follow up with customers, provide feedback, and see problems through to resolution.
•       Support audio and video equipment in conference rooms and the Board Room.
•       Sets up and installs cameras and wireless infrastructure.
•       Performs other tasks as required.
•       Knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking.
•       General programming techniques, data management principles, and general computer and network operations.
•       Knowledge of hardware, software, and service vendors
•       Customer service techniques, work monitoring techniques, prioritization techniques, and techniques for generating a variety of reports
•       Knowledge of various software applications, internet concepts, and basic business principles
•       Skill in assigning and monitoring work. Skill in analyzing end-user system and program needs, installing and configuring PCs and printers, creating back-ups of data sources, generating automated reports, monitoring and maintaining system security, and configuring systems and software.
•       Ability to provide excellent customer service.
•       Skill in running computer system queries, loading data, and preparing and conducting training sessions.
•       Ability in interpersonal communication with co-workers, customers, management, and others.
•       This includes the ability to exchange or convey information and to receive work direction. Maintain confidentiality of information. Ability to ask pertinent questions and troubleshoot computer issues and problems.

•       Any combination of education and experience equivalent to an associate degree, supplemented by completion of courses specifically related to technical maintenance
•       1-2 years of technical experience in information technology user support and providing help desk assistance.
•       Possession of an appropriate driver’s license valid in the State of North Carolina.
