Image Processing Developer
Job Description
Rezult Group continues to make great strides toward enhancing the technology services community nationwide. We are consistently looking for qualified professionals to join us in achieving success. Currently, we are searching for an Image Processing Developer to fulfill an immediate full-time vacancy.
This position is a Full-Time, Direct Hire position, not offering sponsorship or C2C, and sits onsite in southeastern Alabama.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the current team member to support and learn the Real Vision (RVI) imaging technology, responsible for enhancing and maintaining imaging and content management systems.
- Contribute to development efforts for the company’s core business-critical application, a business critical application running on iSeries using RPG programming.
- Perform database changes and support backend database management, with data hosted on SQL servers.
- Assist with content management-related development, including document capture and processing, using Kofax AI-driven imaging solutions.
- Support the transition and development of Enterprise Content Management (ECM) solutions, including document digitization and retrieval.
- Participate in cross-functional teamwork, helping bridge knowledge between iSeries (RPG) and SQL-based systems for seamless operations and data handling.
- Engage in ongoing system updates and maintenance, ensuring application performance and usability for internal and external users.
- 3+ years of experience with SQL, including software and data integrations, connectivity issues, and database changes.
- Experience in software development, preferably C#/.NET, RPG, or PHP, or Java.
- Experience working with content management systems, such as RVI (Real Vision), ECM, or similar document imaging technologies is ideal!
- Experience or willingness to learn about Kofax, AI, and imaging technologies related to document capture and storage is a plus.
- Familiarity with proof of delivery (POD) applications, Bill of Lading processes, or related logistics systems is highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with an ability to communicate technical challenges and progress effectively.
