Rezult continues to make great strides toward enhancing the technology community nationwide. We are consistently looking for qualified professionals to join us in achieving success. Currently we are searching for a Information Security Analyst to fulfil an immediate vacancy.
The Information Security Analyst will be on the forefront of working with the most recent security issues, exploits, attacks, and other nefarious activities. The individual will assist in maintaining audit and compliance activities to ensure policies, standards, procedures, and audit activities are aligned with business and regulatory requirements.
The Information Security Analyst will perform threat hunting and investigations into potential threats based on log data and provide results of analysis to management. They will provide analysis and trending of security log data from a wide range of security devices. The ideal candidate will have at least 5-7 years of experience in an Information Security role.
Job Responsibilities:
- Engineer, implement and monitor security measures for the protection of computer systems, networks and information
- Knowledge in validating the organization against policies/guidelines/procedures/regulations to ensure compliance
- Experience in risk identification and management (RMF)
- Participate, organize and assist Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity activities
- Participate in the CIRT in responding, identifying, and mitigating security incidents.
- Manage, perform and report on security risk assessments and business impact analysis (BIA)
- Configure and troubleshoot security infrastructure devices.
- Understand infrastructure, network, cloud, desktop; and security regulations, requirements, and best practices
- Write comprehensive reports including assessment-based findings, outcomes and propose further system security enhancement
- Assist in planning, implements, and documents a secure network topology to meet business requirements.
- Respond to inquiries from staff, administrators, service providers, site personnel and vendors to provide technical assistance and support.
- Demonstrate a continuous effort to keep abreast in the Information Security industry by attending seminars, conventions, and demonstrations and by reading appropriate technical manuals and industry publications.
Job Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree in computer science, cyber security, or a related field with minimum 5-7 years of experience in a combination of information security and IT.
- Industry information security certifications such as CISA, and/or CISSP
- In-depth knowledge of information systems privacy frameworks such as NIST CSF, HIPAA, ISO27001/27002, SOC 2; NIST is required
- Exposure to ITIL Methodology
- Knowledge of configuring and implementing technical security solutions (NGFW-Firewalls, IPS/IDS, XDR/EDR, Email Security.)
- Familiarity with Mitre attack frameworks and remediations is a nice to have
