Jr Project Manager

Rezult Group continues to make great strides toward enhancing the technology services community nationwide. We are consistently looking for qualified professionals to join us in achieving success. Currently, we are searching for a Jr Project Manager to fulfill an immediate contract vacancy.
This position is a Contract role that sits onsite in Birmingham, AL (5 days/week).
Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Own and drive low-complexity projects from initiation through closeout, operating within an established PMO framework and reporting directly to the PMO Director
- Manage project documentation, status reporting, and milestone tracking across assigned initiatives, ensuring visibility and accountability at the portfolio level
- Support data cleanup, tool migration, and platform governance activities as the PMO standardizes its tooling and reporting infrastructure
- Coordinate cross-functional stakeholder communication, including facilitating meetings, capturing action items, and following through on deliverables
- Contribute to back-office PMO build-out efforts such as SharePoint configuration, governance artifact development, and process documentation
- Assist portfolio managers and business partners with intake coordination, risk tracking, and operational consistency across the project portfolio
- Potential exposure to field operations projects as the PMO expands its scope across a rapidly scaling enterprise
Position Requirements:
- 3–5 years of hands-on project management experience, with demonstrated ability to independently manage projects through a full lifecycle
- SDLC or PMI-centric background strongly preferred; experience applying structured PM methodology (Waterfall, Agile, or Hybrid) in a professional setting
- CAPM certification preferred; PMP pursuit or in-progress a plus — formal certification training is funded by the organization
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to represent the PMO professionally across business functions without deep domain expertise in each area
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365, collaboration platforms, and project/reporting tools; experience with PPM systems a plus
- Nice-to-have: exposure to Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, or similar data/reporting platforms
- Self-starter with strong organizational discipline and follow-through — comfortable working in a maturing PMO environment where processes are still being established
