Junior Accountant

Job Description
Rezult continues to make great strides toward enhancing the financial community nationwide. We are consistently looking for qualified professionals to join us in achieving success. Currently we are searching for a Junior Accountant to fulfill an immediate vacancy.
This individual will be responsible for:
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements for multiple entities, which includes the following:
- Perform bank reconciliations
- Prepare and post required journal entries
- Review & reconcile all balance sheet accounts
- Prepare summary of significant events and budget variances
- Prepare supporting documentation for financial statements including balance sheet schedules and other reconciliations
- Work closely with independent auditors during annual financial statement audit with preparing schedules and invoices, providing explanations of supporting materials and procedures, and preparing any other necessary data.
- Posting of accounts to the General Ledger for:
- Accounts Receivable
- Cash Receipts
- Accounts Payable
- Cash Disbursements
- Payroll
- Maintain records of all financial documents with appropriate supporting material, update records as necessary.
- Communicate with co-workers, management, clients, schools, and others in a courteous and professional manner.
- Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, and instructions.
- Provide support such as schedules, data, information, etc. for the annual budget process.
We are actively speaking with applicants that have a minimum of:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting or related field.
- 1-3 years bookkeeping or other relevant accounting experience
- MS Windows (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint); proficiency in accounting software.
