Payroll Tax Analyst
Job Description
Rezult continues to make great strides toward enhancing the financial community nationwide. We are consistently looking for qualified professionals to join us in achieving success. Currently we are searching for a Payroll Tax Analyst to fulfill an immediate need.
This individual will be responsible for:
- Ensuring timely and accurate payroll tax calculations, filings, and payments across U.S. and Canadian jurisdictions
- Overseeing and reconciling federal, state, local, and provincial payroll taxes, including workers’ compensation and health care remittances
- Collaborating closely with UKG Pro Managed Services to ensure compliance in tax updates, garnishment processing, and year-end activities (W-2, T4, etc.)
- Monitoring regulatory changes and proactively implement updates in tax setup/configuration within the UKG Pro system
- Partnering with other departments for GL payroll tax account reconciliations, audits, and reporting requests
- Researching and resolving complex payroll tax discrepancies, amendments, and notices from tax agencies
- Ad hoc work as assigned
We are actively speaking with applicants that have a minimum of:
- 5+ years of payroll experience to include tax reconciliations and filings
- Experience working in UKG is a plus
- CPP certification is a plus
