Responsibilities:
- Train and oversee a team of entry level individuals to assist in Tier support the day-to-day activities of the company's use of SCADA systems.
- Provide technical direction, work prioritization and mentoring for this team of entry level individuals.
- Participate in architecture and standards reviews with senior SCADA personnel from other areas to ensure standards are followed across all assets.
- Work closely with field personnel and network infrastructure team to ensure systems are available and sufficiently supporting business needs.
- Support company Cybersecurity standards. Provide ongoing operational support for company SCADA systems and Regional SCADA Teams.
- Oversee SCADA data collection and verify and maintain the SCADA data integrity.
- Participate and coordinate in 24x7 on-call support rotation.
Position Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience working with, supporting, administering or maintaining SCADA
- Experience acting as a technical lead or in a management or supervisory role.
- Experience with migration or integration of other HMI or SCADA applications like Wonderware, clear SCADA, Ignition, Xpac, iFix, etc.
- Knowledge of database systems, including SQL querying & report building
- Familiarity with electronic meters, RTU, PLC and various remote monitoring devices
- Familiarity with communication protocols, radios, and networking
- Ability to travel about 20% nationwide, as required to manage/build the team and business relationships.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, or related program preferred
