Senior Accountant

Job Description
Rezult continues to make great strides toward enhancing the financial community nationwide. We are consistently looking for qualified professionals to join us in achieving success. Currently we are searching for a Senior Accountant to fulfill an immediate need.
This individual will be responsible for:
- Lead and support the month-end and quarter-end close process for assigned areas, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Prepare and post journal entries related to accruals, prepaids, revenue/expense allocations, and other general ledger activity.
- Perform detailed balance sheet reconciliations, roll-forwards, and account analysis to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Review and analyze P&L and balance sheet activity, providing clear financial insights and variance explanations for management.
- Prepare and deliver financial analytics and trend analysis, including actuals vs. forecast reporting, to support business decisions and leadership review.
- Partner with cross-functional teams including Shared Services, Corporate Reporting, and Finance to support close, reporting, and forecast-to-actual analysis.
- Assist with technical accounting matters and ensure transactions are recorded accurately in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Identify and drive process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and overall accounting operations.
- Support leadership with ad hoc reporting, analytics, and special projects while serving as a strong team contributor.
We are actively speaking with applicants that have a minimum of:
- 4+ years of progressive accounting experience (a blended public background or corporate with a CPA)
- CPA strongly preferred
- Strong Excel skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Restaurant or retail industry experience a PLUS
