Job Description

Currently, we are searching for a Solution Architect (Oracle Retail Systems) to fulfill an immediate full-time vacancy.
This position is a Full-Time, Direct Hire position, willing to offer visa sponsorship to candidates with a pre-existing H1B visa, and is an onsite role in Birmingham, AL.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, configuration, and integration of Oracle Retail systems, including Merchandising, Inventory, and Sales Audit solutions.
- Collaborate with business and IT teams to translate user requirements into technical specifications and solutions, ensuring seamless integration across systems.
- Provide guidance and hands-on support throughout the SDLC, from requirements gathering to testing and delivery.
- Configure and support Oracle Retail products, focusing on integration and ensuring systems meet business needs, rather than developing custom solutions.
- Analyze and optimize system performance, recommending improvements to enhance business operations and user experience.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders and vendors to ensure project timelines, deliverables, and budgets are adhered to.
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for Oracle Retail systems, assisting in troubleshooting and providing guidance to other teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in Oracle Retail solutions, including familiarity with systems such as RMS, REIM, ReSA, and MFCS.
- Experience with Oracle Retail products and platforms like Merchandising, Planning & Forecasting Systems, Oracle Store Systems, Order Management, or Financial Accounting System preferred.
- Hands-on experience in configuring, integrating, and supporting enterprise systems, especially in the retail domain.
- Strong understanding of retail business processes and experience working on the user side of Oracle Retail products.
- Proficiency in data architecture and data management, as well as familiarity with reporting tools such as MicroStrategy and Alteryx.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical challenges.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
