Staff Accountant
Job Description
Rezult continues to make great strides toward enhancing the financial community nationwide. We are consistently looking for qualified professionals to join us in achieving success. Currently we are searching for a Staff Accountant to fulfill an immediate need.
This individual will be responsible for:
- Performing monthly account reconciliations and investigate and resolve discrepancies to ensure accuracy of financial records
- Preparing and posting journal entries to support month-end close and maintain accurate general ledger account
- Conducting financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for process improvements
- Preparing and maintaining supporting schedules, account rollforwards, and other financial documentation
- Compiling, tracking, and reporting daily key financial statistics and operational metrics
- Assisting with month-end and year-end close activities, ensuring timely and accurate reporting
- Ad hoc work as assigned
We are actively speaking with applicants that have a minimum of:
- 2+ years of full cycle accounting experience
- Experience in Oracle is a plus
- Excel skills to include pivot tables and VLOOKUPS
