Job Description
Rezult Group continues to make great strides toward enhancing the technology services community nationwide. We are consistently looking for qualified professionals to join us in achieving success. Currently, we are searching for a Systems Administrator to fulfill an immediate full-time vacancy.
This position is a Full-Time, Direct Hire position that sits fully onsite in southeastern Alabama.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Administer and manage Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktop, along with other Citrix-based solutions.
- Oversee and maintain Windows server environments, from 2016 to 2022 versions, including patch management using Kace.
- Support VMware virtualization technologies, managing a cluster of 15 hosts per data center and around 400 virtual machines.
- Manage backup and high availability systems using Rubrik and Zerto, ensuring minimal data loss and quick recovery.
- Collaborate with other systems administrators to troubleshoot, resolve issues, and implement system upgrades.
- Perform routine server monitoring, testing, and software updates with occasional after-hours support for critical updates.
- Maintain and update technical documentation for systems, processes, and maintenance procedures.
Position Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience with Windows Administration (Windows Server 2016-2022).
- Experience with VMware environments, including managing a large-scale virtual infrastructure.
- Familiarity with Citrix administration, specifically with Virtual Apps and Desktop, is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery tools such as Rubrik or Zerto is a bonus.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and demonstrate a proactive, problem-solving attitude.
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues independently and within a team environment.
- Strong communication and documentation skills, with an emphasis on clear and effective collaboration.
