Job Description

Currently we are searching for a Technical Support -Valves Specialist to fulfill an immediate full-time vacancy.
Day to Day:
·        Technical support and troubleshooting with customers and product vendors focused on valves.
·        Process customer quotes, orders, and answer questions surrounding item pricing, order status and revisions, shipment tracking.
·        Communicate with internal employees regarding order revisions and other related items.
·        Accurately process purchase orders to various vendors to satisfy customer order requirements
·        Comfortably use various computer, email, and phone applications, such as Microsoft Teams, and our ERP Infor, and Tour de Force CRM.
·        Working in a fast-paced distributor environment, displaying high levels of punctuality, dependability, and attention to detail.
Requirements:
·        3 years of previous experience in sales or technical support in an industrial distribution or industrial manufacturing environment
·        Ideally strong knowledge in industrial manual and automated valve products like solenoid, ball, gate, plug, butterfly, and control valves, pneumatic and electric actuators, position indicators, and accessories.
·        Attention to detail and proficiency in working with numbers (prices, part numbers, account numbers, etc.)
·        Proficiency with MS Office tools
·        A technical bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent relevant education or experience
·        Experience with Infor Distribution SXe and Tour de Force CRM is a plus
