Associate Director of Construction
Job Description
Rezult Group continues to make great strides toward enhancing the technology services community nationwide. We are consistently looking for qualified professionals to join us in achieving success. Currently we are searching for an Associate Director of Construction to fulfill an immediate full-time vacancy.
This position is a Full-Time, Direct Hire position that sits onsite in Birmingham, AL with up to 25–30% regional travel.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor Project Managers and Senior Project Managers overseeing multiple hospital construction and renovation projects.
- Manage vendors, contractors, and consultants across all phases — from pre-construction planning through project completion.
- Review project budgets, bids, and schedules, ensuring financial accountability and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with leadership teams and stakeholders to align construction initiatives with operational and organizational goals.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress, ensure quality standards, and resolve issues in the field.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
- 8–10+ years of construction project management experience, including at least 2 years in healthcare construction.
- Proven track record leading teams and delivering large-scale capital projects on time and within budget.
- Strong vendor/contractor management skills with experience reviewing contracts, quotes, and invoices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.
