This individual will be responsible for:
This UI/UX Designer role centers on creating modern, intuitive, and responsive interfaces for web- and desktop-based applications that support cutting-edge Live, Virtual, and Constructive training environments. Responsibilities include conducting user research, usability testing, and stakeholder interviews to inform design decisions, as well as producing wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using tools like Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch. The designer will contribute across the full UX lifecycle, maintain design systems aligned with accessibility and DoD security standards, and collaborate closely with developers and stakeholders in Agile Scrum practices to deliver engaging, mission-focused solutions.
We are actively speaking with applicants that have a minimum of:
· 3+ years of expertise in UI/UX design and prototyping, creating wireframes, mockups, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for web- and desktop-based applications using Figma, Adobe XD, and Sketch.
· Skilled in conducting user research, stakeholder interviews, workflow analysis, and usability testing to deliver intuitive, user-centered designs for interactive simulations and training applications.
· Experienced in developing and maintaining design systems, style guides, and component libraries, ensuring compliance with Section 508/WCAG accessibility standards and secure DoD environments.
