GIS Analyst
Job Description
Rezult Group continues to make great strides toward enhancing the technology services community nationwide. We are consistently looking for qualified professionals to join us in achieving success. Currently we are searching for a GIS Technician to fulfill an immediate long‑term contract opportunity with a major utilities‑focused organization.
This position is a Contract‑to‑Hire role. The role is fully onsite in Montgomery, AL.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Create engineering designs and cost estimates using ArcPro GIS software.
- Edit map features and maintain accurate attribute data within the GIS system.
- Distribute updated maps to internal teams and manage ongoing map revisions.
- Handle easement and right‑of‑way requests, coordinating with stakeholders as needed.
- Maintain a consistent onsite schedule: 7:30 AM–4:00 PM with a 30‑minute lunch
- Alternate schedules: 7:00–3:30 or 7:00–4:00 with a 1‑hour lunch.
- 1–3 years of GIS experience in a professional or applied environment.
- Either a Bachelor’s degree in Geography OR an accredited GIS Certificate program.
- Bonus qualifications:
- Exposure to Maximo
- Experience using ArcPro (preferred over legacy ArcMap).
