Currently we are searching for Travel IR / Neuro Radiology Technologists for multiple contract roles with an exceptional hospital based out of Florence, SC.
Job Description:
· Neuro Endovascular Tech will be responsible for supporting LVO stroke cases, cerebral aneurysm repairs with an Endovascular trained Neurologist. This is a new department/ specialty- looking for experienced staff to assist in opening the department.
· Call will be every other week.
· Maintains a professional image and exhibits excellent customer relations to patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers in accordance with our Service Excellence Standards and Core Values.
· Selects and utilizes appropriate technical factors for procedures in but not limited to the Neurointerventional (NIR Bi-Plane), based on body habits, pathology, and body parts.
· Processes completed images making sure they are of interpretable quality.
· Continues to develop professionalism through continuing education programs and in-services.
· Complies with all policies of the system with the intention of delivering the highest quality of service. Performs all Procedures examinations during scheduled hours and is available for call.
· Work under the supervision and delegatory authority of a surgeon to facilitate the safe and effective conduct of invasive and non-invasive surgical procedures, ensuring that the operating room environment is safe, that equipment functions properly, and that the operative procedure is conducted under conditions that maximize patient safety.
· Assists with draping the patient and establishing a sterile field. Assist with patient positioning and prepping.
· Assists in lifting, turning, positioning, and preparing patients for surgical procedures, using proper body mechanics. Ensure the availability and preparedness of procedure rooms.
· Participates in the surgical site and patient verification during the time out procedure. Assists with cleaning of the room and room turnover.
We are currently speaking with candidates who have:
· Must have experience in vascular radiology scrubbing and imaging including additional experience specifically in Neuro Endovascular or Neuro Interventional radiology.
· Active BLS (AHA) and ARRT certification required.
